Daria, who grew up near Novosibirsk, Russia, started working on her career at an early age. After studying at the music, singing, theater and dance academy at the age of seven, she crossed Russia with concerts and appeared in children's programs in the Russian television on.

In 1996 she moved to Germany, where numerous appearances as a singer and entertainment artist followed.

Since 2000 her performances have taken place all over Europe. The NDR engaged her in 1999 on the “NDR Christmas Tour” with Lutz Ackermann across Germany, the highlight of which was her appearance on the talk show “Talk am Meer”.
In summer 2009 Daria started her career as a pop singer (Daria Russo) and produced her first songs with her producer Lutz Bünemann.
