Mandi Orozco
Mandi Orozco grew up in Orlando, Florida. At the age of eight she began gracing the stages of Disney World singing and dancing for both live and televised performances including work with Stevie Wonder in the opening of Animal Kingdom and a singing duet with Tim McGraw. After years of formative dance training from age 12 to 17, Mandi set her eyes on circus arts. From 2006 to 2007, Mandi was introduced to aerial tissu and discovered her natural talent for contortion. Mandi began touring the eastern seaboard and into the Caribbean performing at corporate conventions, charities, and private parties hosted by celebrities such as Donald Trump, Carmen Electra and John Travolta. Seeking a higher level of technique and artistic interpretation, Mandi was led to The National Circus School in Montreal, Quebec. After completing the three-year program at The National Circus School, Mandi performed a lead role in Cirque du Soleil's Dralion and toured internationally for five years. As of 2014, Mandi has based herself in Berlin and enjoys the freedom of freelancing, continuing to work for a multitude of companies including Cirque du Soleil, 7 Fingers, the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, and Palazzo. In her free time from circus, Mandi seeks new projects, collaborations, pursues a degree in psychology, and participates in triathlons.
